I founded NamasteCalm as a space for healing, connection, and coming home to yourself. With a background in psychology, anatomy, Chinese medicine, and trauma-informed care, my approach to yoga is gentle, intuitive, and deeply rooted in compassion. I’m honored to guide both children and adults in practices that support emotional safety, nervous system balance, and wholehearted living. My hope is that every class offers a moment of peace, presence, and self-love.
Light and Love,
Genna
Jess found her practice in 2013 while navigating a time of adversity. Through yoga, she discovered presence, gratitude, and compassion for herself and others. In 2017, she became a certified yoga instructor and has been teaching ever since. Her classes are rooted in a trauma-informed approach, drawing on her training and experience teaching students of all abilities.
Over the years, Jess has taught a wide range of styles, including hot vinyasa and restorative, ensuring the practice remained accessible. She creates space for students to explore their edge safely, offering classes that are both challenging and empowering. With a deep appreciation for the mind-body connection, she is currently pursuing her master’s in occupational therapy to further support others in healing and self-discovery.
Jess believes there is something sacred in coming together to share our energy, strengths, and struggles. She is honored to guide others in connecting mind, body, and spirit on and off the mat and always encourages students to show up just as they are.
Dyana is a Nutley resident, mom of 2 teenage boys, 7th grade science teacher, dance teacher and passionate yoga teacher dedicated to helping others find balance and inner peace. She received her 200 hour certification in 2016 and also has a certification in Yin and Restorative Yoga. She has also been teaching almost all styles of dance since she was 14 years old.
Dyana’s teaching style is warm, encouraging, and inclusive, making my classes accessible to students of all levels. She strives to create a safe and nurturing environment focusing on functional movement, where students can explore their practice, connect with their breath, create movement that makes sense and cultivate mindfulness both on and off the mat.
Lauren first discovered the transformative power of Hot Yoga in 2016, where she found the perfect balance of challenge and inner peace. In 2019, she deepened her practice and passion for teaching by completing her Teacher Training. Her classes highlight the importance of moving with the breath and staying fully present, guiding students to connect mind and body in every practice.
Outside the studio, Lauren enjoys spending time with her family, walking her dogs, and exploring new ways to stay active. Yoga has opened doors to mindfulness, presence, and community in her life — and she is passionate about sharing that same joy and connection with others.
Apusha’s yoga journey began in 2013, transforming her physical and mental well-being and igniting a passion to share it’s benefits with others. As a dedicated vinyasa teacher, she creates a space where students can connect deeply with their mind, body & breath. She also has certifications in Pranayama & Meditation and Yoga for Seniors. She is also pursuing teacher training for Yin-Yang and Restorative Yoga. Apusha’s practice blends spirituality, mindfulness and movement, inspiring others to cultivate strength and inner peace.
Rachel has been practicing yoga since 2009 and teaching for the past 8 years. She loves creating a nurturing space where students can slow down, restore, and reconnect with themselves. Her candlelit restorative flow weaves together gentle movement, guided meditation, and the soothing resonance of crystal bowls to invite deep rest and presence. Hi, I’m Caleigh! I am a certified yoga teacher (200-HR) with additional training in children’s yoga. I’ve been teaching adult yoga for over three years, specializing in vinyasa flows that invite relaxation, balance, and mindful movement. Alongside my adult classes, I have a deep passion for working with kids and teens. I currently teach children’s gymnastics at The Little Gym (ages 4 months–12 years) and offer kids’ yoga at a private daycare for ages 2–5.
My background also includes working as a Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) supporting children with autism, which has given me a compassionate and playful approach to teaching. Whether guiding adults into a calming flow or helping young yogis build confidence and body awareness, my goal is to create a welcoming space where everyone feels supported, capable, and at ease.
My yoga journey began in 2017 when I walked into a class not knowing it would change my life. What started as simple curiosity soon became a deep passion—a safe space to reconnect with myself, move mindfully, and grow from the inside out.
In 2023, I became a certified RYT 200 yoga instructor, and in 2024, I added Adult CPR/AED certification—because safety matters, too. Since then, I’ve been teaching regularly and loving every moment.
To me, yoga isn’t just a workout—it’s a way of life. I’m here to help you feel at home in your body, calm your mind, and breathe a little deeper every day.
Lissette is a passionate yoga teacher who brings heart, humor, and healing into every class. With a background as a caregiver and a lifelong love for movement, she discovered yoga as a way to reconnect with her own body, mind, and spirit. What started as a personal journey quickly became a calling to guide others.
Trained in vinyasa flow and inspired by the belief that yoga should be both empowering and accessible, Lissette creates a welcoming space where students of all levels can feel seen, supported, and challenged in the best ways. Her classes blend mindful movement, soulful playlists, and playful energy — always with a focus on breath and presence.
When she’s not on the mat, you can find Lissette experimenting in the kitchen, planning yoga & wine parties, or laughing way too loud with the people she loves.
Join her for a class — come as you are, and leave feeling a little stronger, a little softer, and a lot more connected.
Alex is a certified 200-hour yoga teacher and certified sound healer. She specializes in creating grounding and restorative experiences that combine mindful movement, breathwork, and the healing vibrations of sound. Her offerings invite students to reconnect with themselves, find balance, and cultivate inner peace.
Dawn began her yoga journey in 2017 and immediately felt at home in the movement, breath, and quiet strength of the practice. She completed her 200-hour yoga teacher training at Good Vibes in Nutley under the guidance of Michael Giaimo. She led hot vinyasa classes at the studio from 2019 to 2022.
Dawn’s teaching blends fluid sequencing, grounded breathwork, and a calm, encouraging presence. Her classes are designed to help students connect inward, move intentionally, and leave feeling centered and renewed.
In 2022, Dawn stepped away from teaching to begin a new chapter in motherhood. Today, she continues to weave yoga into her daily life and is passionate about creating space for others to explore their own practice on and off the mat.
I first stepped into a yoga class in 2008, and while it wasn’t love at first sight, over time I found myself drawn into the heart of the practice. My classes are all about meeting you where you are—blending intentional movement with curiosity, compassion, and always a little humor. Along the way, I’ve been inspired by many incredible teachers, traveled to India on pilgrimage, and deepened my studies in Bhakti Yoga, death and grief work, and yoga philosophy. With my background as a musician, I love weaving voice, movement, and devotion together to create a practice that feels both grounding and uplifting. These days, I lead classes, trainings, and retreats with the simple hope of helping you connect to your inner love and share your unique light with the world.

Renee’s warm, supportive approach invites students of all levels to feel comfortable, present, and empowered in their practice. Her guiding belief: movement is the key to living fully.
